Description:

The Data & Insights Analyst will support the Insights Manager to partner with stakeholders to provide timely, valuable and actionable insights that influence business decisions and drive changes for Hasbro, its customers and end-consumers.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, mathematics, finance, computer science or data science discipline
  • 2+ years’ experience in commercial analytics, data science or quantitative market research
  • Strong Excel skills essential
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI and ability to derive marketing insights from data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to produce accurate and timely solution
  • Strong numerical literacy with a passion for shaping and using data Ability to effectively communicate a story through data
  • Attention to detail critical
  • Interest and knowledge of the entertainment and toy industries ideal
  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • A growth mindset, constantly looking at ways to improve processes

Responsibilities:

THE PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES EXPECTED OF THIS ROLE ARE TO:

  • Develop, utilise and maintain sales reports, with a focus on data integrity, reporting, analysis and insights generation
  • Analyse data and develop insights to drive brand, segment, retailer and category growth
  • Report and present data and insights that provide clear recommendations for users
  • Assist the Insights Manager to instil a data led culture

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Work collaboratively across the commercial business (Sales, Marketing, Planning and Operations teams) to ensure up to date, relevant and accurate data and insights are used to inform brand and retailer planning
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insight
  • Proactively conduct analysis into available data and report back on findings, provide insights and present recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Assist in the analysis of market related, sales related and competitive data to produce insightful analytics around market drivers, competitive activity and trends
  • Continuously monitor and optimize data processes for efficiency and performance
  • Implement general data management practices, processes, and tools, coordinating data collection from multiple sources
