Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Data Architect in our Architecture Practice, you’ll play a key role in providing expertise to lift ANZ’s maturity in data and data modelling. The role is a fundamental participant in the success of the data strategy related to the formation of service domains and information governance. The outcome gives visibility of the ANZ’s non-financial risk controls, as related to data use.
ANZ is going through a rapid pace of technological change. We’re looking for a talented data architect to:
Proactively engage with stakeholders to ensure models are suitable for use in design and governance.
Author or contribute to patterns and standards of models that meet ANZ policies.
Be part of our cross-disciplined architecture team and broader community in the enterprise.
Actively participate in helping to build out the technology and data roadmap by the identifying and advising approaches to a changing organisational profile.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE YOU WOULD BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

Building of conceptual and logical models to support business use cases.
Working with business stakeholders to model the business activity and data solutions.
Working with security, risk and architecture governance to determine and influence the execution of best practice, principles and patterns for data use.
Collaborate with and provide specialist support to the architecture and engineering community to align services and models.
Support the shaping of the roadmap for data, analytics and reporting.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BRING:

Domain Knowledge: You have expert understanding of data modelling. You have an appreciation for data and integration architecture
Design: Appreciation and participation in modern modelling practices and use of frameworks. E.g. BIAN, IFW, FSDM
Experience: A proven track record for providing modelling support to the governance and engineering community for a medium to large enterprise.
People: Participated in stakeholder engagement at all levels of seniority. A person that comfortably fits in and participates in a team environment.
