• Insurance Industry experience
• Proven track record of designing and implementing data architecture in insurance, including policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, and customer management systems.Technical Skills

• Proficiency in data modelling, database design, and data integration.

• Expertise in data integration tools and database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and cloud data integration patterns.
• Familiarity with metadata management tools and practices.
• Understanding of MDM principles and tools and experience in managing and consolidating master data across the enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and tools.
• An understanding of data engineering, data lakes and processing of structured and unstructured data.Soft Skills

ABOUT THE ROLE

Benefact Group, are looking for a Data Architect to join our Gloucester office.
The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising the data architecture that supports the Group’s insurance operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is effectively collected, stored, processed, and utilised to drive business insights and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data modelling, data management, architecture design, and a strong understanding of the insurance industry.
