Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

We are excited to offer the role of a Data Architect.
This role will focus on creating and maintaining data models, as well as designing solution architectures for key data management platforms within in the organisation. The Data Architect will play a critical role in establishing governance and enforcing policies to ensure data quality, security and compliance. During the ERP transformation, the role will work closely with Enterprise Architects, stakeholders and partners in ensuring the data architecture and data migration for the ERP platform adhere to the governance and architectural principals. A strong understanding of SAP, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake platforms is essential for this position.
This role will be based in our Surry Hills office and with an expectation of working at least 3 days a week in office and 2 days from home.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Generalist Architecture Requirements: Broad understanding of various architectural domains including business, data, application, and technology architecture. Ability to integrate and align architectural solutions with business strategies and goals.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and implement end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and align with enterprise architecture standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
  • Data Platform Development: Build a world-class data platform designed for scale and growth. Provide a flexible and interactive data platform for business users.
  • Data Governance: Support the adoption of a data governance framework and data quality projects.
  • Technical Excellence: Proven experience with data modelling and data architectures across small and large data platforms. Technical excellence with the Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake data stack, and related products. Experience with Power BI, Coalesce/DBT and SAP.
  • Alignment with TOGAF: Ensure architectural practices and solutions align with TOGAF principles and methodologies where applicable. Develop and maintain architecture artifacts in accordance with TOGAF standards.
  • Agile Delivery: Strong Agile background and delivery mindset. Proven strategies for managing expansion and scalability of data platforms.Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all regulatory, internal policies, procedures, guidelines, and legislation associated with data capture, storage, and use. Promote a culture of compliance management and control.
