Data Architect

We currently have a vacancy for a Data Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 13 years;
• In depth experience in data architecture;
• Practical experience on Data Analytics and Big Data design patterns;
• Experience with service implementation patterns, distributed system design and messaging layer;
• Experience with data cleansing, data preparation or other type’s data processing solutions;
• Practical knowledge of the COTS (Dataiku, Denodo, Superset, Jupyterlab and R Studio) will be considered an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.

• Contribute to designing and validate the data and systems architecture proposed for the solution to ensure it meets performance and security requirements;
• Design, develop and implement data cleansing, data preparation or other type’s data processing solutions using the available tools in the context of the project;
• Provide support and training on data manipulation and processing to the different stakeholders of the project;
• Support the definition, design, and use of the project’s platform, focusing on efficient integration of data sources, data storage, accessibility, processing, transmissions, interfaces, and security.
