DATA ARCHITECTURE CONSULTANT

Location: Atlanta, GA
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architecture Consultant to join our Enterprise Architecture team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data architecture plans in collaboration with business and IT. You will play a crucial role in various data and analytics initiatives, including cloud data transformation, data governance, data quality, CRM, MDM, Generative AI, and data science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain architectural views and blueprints of the current, transitional, and future state of the Business and IT landscape.
• Recommend strategic advancements within the technical portfolio.
• Define and maintain standards for architectural artifacts within the operating model.
• Build a Community of Practice for solutions architecture and leverage architectural tools and processes.
• Provide guidance on emerging trends and technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of cloud data architecture, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in developing architecture strategies for cloud data transformation, MDM, data governance, and data science.
• Ability to design reusable data architecture and best practices for effective data integration and analytics.
• Experience in leading software evaluations and delivering executive presentations.
• Familiarity with various data domains, including Data Warehousing, Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, Analytics, BI, and more.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex data concepts to different audiences.
• Experience with cloud data technologies like Azure data factory, Azure Data Fabric, Azure storage, Azure data lake storage, Azure data bricks, Azure AD, Azure ML, etc.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Cloudera, Spark, Sqoop, Hive, HDFS, Flume, Storm, and Kafka.
