Description:
Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. One of our Fortune 100 ICT clients is expanding their DCN team by adding a fulltime researcher to help work on next generation DCN tech.
Role: Data Center Network Researcher
Type: Fulltime
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 as base salary + bonus + benefits
Location: Toronto or Waterloo, ON
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in the data center networks, focusing on the network optimization on the large-scale AI cluster and cloud computing networks.
- Design protocols and algorithms in the transport layer to improve the end-to-end performance for the computing, cloud and storage applications and Build simulation and/or hardware prototype to verify the design.
- Collaborate with the HQ experts and Corresponding product lines to promote the implementation of our design into commercial products.
- Follow the latest progress in both industry and academia. Attend various meetings and write technical insight reports.
