We are seeking a Data Center System Software Architect (Site Manager Candidate or Backup) to join our System Technology and Engineering Global team based in London, UK. You’ll drive the end-to-end delivery of systemical systems software for the company datacenter infrastructure, and work with various team members to support the inspiring and creative products of Bytedance, which bring joy to users around the globe.

At the same time, you should general project management skills as below:

• Prepare the project schedule, define the milestones;
• Track and report progress, identify and mitigate risks, removing blockers;
• Lead Agile/Scrum teams as a coach or scrum master;
• Embrace the company culture and principles and promote an environment that embodies the company Principle and Value

• As a Data Center System Software Architect , you’ll be the bridge between various teams across countries, working closely with people from data center infrastructure team, computing resource managment team, SRE team, end bussiness teams in different area, driving the stability engineering, performance optimiztion engineering, and new direction of system level hardware and software co-design, and delivered solid result in the data center system software area to support the devolopment of Bytedance bussiness
• Initialize and manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and lead all aspects of assigned programs delivery.
• Create and maintain the roadmap for the team
• Define the way of driving these programs and constantly find ways of improving them in a data-driven manner.
