POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Data Collection Technician at Dyna Robotics, you will be instrumental in teaching our AI systems by providing high-quality, consistent demonstrations of various manual tasks. Your work will directly influence the accuracy and efficiency of our robotic arms, helping them learn and improve. You will collaborate closely with the engineering and AI research teams to ensure the data collected is precise and meets the required standards. This role is crucial for building the foundational data that drives the development and enhancement of our robotic capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree or equivalent in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering , or robotics
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Basic working knowledge and familiarity with computer software interfaces and tools (e.g., the command line, bash, linux OS)
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with robotic systems, teleoperation, or related fields.
  • Experience with data annotation tools and methodologies.
  • Prior experience in a startup environment, particularly in robotics or AI.
  • Background in AI/ML or robotic manipulation.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols in a lab or industrial setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and tele-operate robotic arms to perform tasks ranging from simple to complex, ensuring precise movements and actions.
  • Capture and annotate high-volume data related to task execution, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to refine task protocols and improve data collection processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during data collection to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed logs of activities and data collected for continuous improvement and analysis.
