POSITION SUMMARY:
- As a Data Consultant, you will guide the shaping and delivery of major projects for clients. You will work with our clients directly, Cognizant’s client account leaders and consulting specialists to provide thought leadership and industry perspective on the challenges that our clients need solving.
- The life of a consultant involves exciting, fast-paced work, dealing with a variety of stakeholders, clients and consultants. MANDATORY SKILLS:
To apply for this Data Consultant role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Experience as a data engineer, delivering high quality, measurable results for clients in a technical consulting capacity.
- Proficiency in DBT for data transformation and modelling.
- Extensive experience with Snowflake as a data warehousing solution.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to S3, Redshift, Lambda, and EC2.
- Advanced Python programming skills.
- Experience with data modelling techniques and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Astronomer / Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with other data tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of SQL and other database technologies.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in data engineering.

- dbt Developer
- Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals
- Azure Database Administrator Associate
- Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Databricks Data Engineer Associate
- Neo4J Professional
Salary Range: >$100,000
