Data Control Engineer

We are looking for a Data Control engineer with experience in Data management, Good knowledge in writing queries to extract the data, automate the report generation through reporting tools .

REQUIREMENTS:

1.Understand the data requirements from various departments
2.Extract data from database by writing queries and share the reports with the stakeholders
3.Automate the frequently used data reports using the Reporting tool and provision the secured access to stake holder on the reports
4.Manage Database backup and restore
5.Ensure data security
6.Capacity planning and Database finetuning from time to time to increase DB performance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or Engineering equivalent.
• At least 2-4 years of relevant working experience as a Database Administrator or relavant engineering experience within similar capacity operations.
• Must have familiarity with at least 2 database SAP tools,SQL, …
• Experience in 24x7 support for critical production systems, scheduled maintenance, and release deployment activities.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Good Software application experience.

• To perform daily backup monitoring and take action to have recovery solution in place.
• To Manage the database availability and performance, including incident and problem management.
• To work with Major Incident Management (MIM) team to resolve and co-ordinate high critical issues.
• To carry out periodical production patch and upgrade management.
• To work closely with users and vendors to take timely and appropriate steps to resolve and troubleshoot issues impacting service levels.
• To Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains in database operations.To Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
