Your opportunity

  • Own development within Power BI and paginated reporting within Finance reporting and analytics. You will cover creation and modification of dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Act as the lead resource for Finance for data reconciliation queries. You will need to be comfortable in identifying the source of data and in working with other teams to understand and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Manage end-to-end work, from collecting user stories, designing the technical implementations, deploying changes, organizing testing execution to meet feature deadlines.
  • Own the operations of the Finance reporting platform consisting of Snowflake, Informatica, and Databricks both for support and enhancements to improve resilience and performance.
  • Provide support for users’ “how to” questions and progressively upskill business users to make them more self-sufficient.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Must have skills

  • At least 4 years development experience using Power BI to include dashboard building and data modelling.
  • 4 years of programming experience using SQL, DAX, PowerQuery, and Dataflows.
  • Technical support experience speaking to business and technical users and owning issues.
  • Strong experience of working with all levels of user to better understand and shape requirements and support user testing.
  • Experience in query performance improvements.
  • Agile project delivery experience.
  • Strong experience in code and regression testing, documentation of testing, and change control processes for deployments.
  • Experience working with Finance data.

Nice to have skills

  • Azure Data lake, Databricks, and/ or Snowflake experience.
  • Data warehousing modelling experience.
  • SAP Finance knowledge or experience
  • SAP BW/ BI knowledge or experience
  • Use of Jira to manage Agile delivery
  • Use of ServiceNow to manage incidents and production changes
