Description:

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

  • Represent the voice of the consumer to create a culture of insight-driven decision making in an ambiguous environment that is curious about, but not used to working with insight.
  • Identifying the business and consumer insight needs and translate them into excellent quality research leading to actionable insights for stakeholders in HFB’s.
  • Secure the delivery of insights that inspire and enable people to make well founded decisions and optimize the value of the range offer.
  • Run consumer research for partner business, including exploring new foresight and insight, testing developed solutions and following up on consumer and market performance.
  • Analyzing and integrating different sources of data into clear business conclusions, connecting the dots across different sources to create new insight that inspires stakeholders to take business actions.
  • Review and improve existing capabilities for the insights organization; equip other insight co-workers with tools and capabilities; develop a strong industry/agency network; work with insight product teams to develop new methods.
  • Create or contribute to frameworks and processes for insight-based performance management; create content for most important performance insight needs.
  • Closely work with stakeholders throughout the value chain, insight product teams and project teams on the supplier side to secure maximum impact of insights at the lowest possible cost.
  • Contributing to selecting and managing external partners to guarantee the best quality of data and knowledge, within the agreed budget frame.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to articulate sharp business questions that reflect the range concept priorities and needs.
  • Ability to gather the right data through excellent consumer research, appropriate methodologies, and correct usage of insights products.
  • Ability to analyse and identify patterns across diverse sets of data to come to a deeper understanding of consumer needs and dreams regarding home furnishing.
  • Ability to combine analytical rigour, creativity, and human curiosity to come to non-trivial, actionable insights that drive-decision making by HFB stakeholders.
  • Ability to leverage innovation insights expertise to apply advanced methodologies, uncover deep insights and articulate relevant implications to guide the business to develop.
  • Ability to provide provocative and impactful consumer-centric business recommendations and guidance that inspire stakeholders to act.
  • Ability to inspire and equip co-workers with the tools and capabilities to make insight-driven decisions by facilitating the correct usage and interpretation of insights.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • University education or equivalent combination of relevant training and work experience within the areas of Business, Engineering, Social sciences, psychology or similar.
  • Extensive relevant experience in the area of insight.
  • Relevant experience working with home furnishing businesses or externally in consumer goods.
