In the role of Solution Architect, you will have the opportunity to work in a team-based environment together with other colleagues who are specialized in data and analytics. You will help our customers use modern technology to make data-driven decisions by developing the most optimal technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both legacy and modern data warehousing technologies, as well as a deep understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, operations, regulatory reporting, and GDPR compliance. Experience with data mesh architecture is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure efficient data flow and integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain reports to support daily business operations and regulatory reporting like AnnaCredit, Fatca,IRB etc
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and support data warehouse and BI environments, ensuring high availability and performance with on-call responsibility (DevOps/DataOps)
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience with legacy data warehouse systems.
• Developing, maintaining and optimizing parallel jobs on IBM DataStage 11.7.
• Configuring and deploying custom DataStage operators.
• Experience with Mainframe (Z-OS), SFTP, DB2 and Zeke schedule.
• Experience in Shell and Phyton scripting.
• Proficiency in Teradata SQLs including recursive view and bi-temporal feature.
• Strong knowledge of modern data warehousing solutions, including Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of operations and regulatory reporting requirements for IRB, AnnaCredit, Fatca, CESOP, Audit report and Tax report following GDPR and data privacy regulations.
• Strong understanding of Batch and Event based job flows using CA Autosys and custom-made scheduler and monitoring tools.
• Experience with dbt core for transformation of legacy code to cloud using phyton, jinja and reuseable macros.
• Familiarity with cloud tool GitLab and Orchestration tool like Airflow.
• Experience with Agile methodologies using sprints and estimations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience from the financial industry is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of data mesh architecture is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in migration projects.
• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Teradata).
• Experience in a similar role within a regulated industry.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
