Job Description
As a business we are now moving rapidly into the realm of data engineering and Databricks. We need an additional data engineer to work within our solutions team, to help us grow and increase our expertise. The role would encompass both the creation of technical solutions, advising on methodologies and helping upskill the wider department in the better utilization of new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers to successful implementations on big data projects, ranging from architectural design to data engineering to model deployment.
  • Design, development, and maintenance of Databricks solutions.
  • Helping upskill users into Databricks environments.
  • Manage workstreams to create solutions that extract, transform, cleanse, and load data (ETL/ELT).
  • Help administrate Databricks environments, ensuring policies and conventions are adhered to.
  • Stay up to date on the latest data engineering trends and technologies.
