ABOUT THE JOB:

We are seeking a Data Engineer (Junior to mid-level) to join our team. You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our prestigious clients in these industries and contribute to their success.

YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years in a similar role with expertise in data warehouses and data lake ETL/pipeline tools.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Azure technology stack, data warehouse schema design, ETL processes, and exposure to the Microsoft stack.
  • Cloud Expertise: Proven experience in data engineering within Azure cloud environments, particularly ADF and Databricks.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with release and version methodologies and change management procedures
  • Extensive experience working with SQL across various sources, and the ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Analytical Mindset: Deep understanding of analytics’ business-driving capabilities. Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify information gaps, manipulate complex datasets, and showcase strong data cleaning skills.
  • Self-motivated: Highly motivated with excellent time management skills, capable of working independently.
  • Knowledge and experience in Power BI

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with diverse business stakeholders (our clients) to comprehend data and reporting needs.
  • Insightful Analysis: Generate comprehensive analyses from data and reports to improve operational efficiency. Address concerns identified through data insights, fostering continuous improvement.
  • End-to-End Data Management: Oversee the entire data delivery process for new projects. This includes change management, ideation, requirements gathering, development, testing, and migration to production for dashboard creation.
  • Pipeline Development: Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using ADF and Synapse. Create and manage metadata ingestion processes.
  • Cloud Data Solutions: Implement and deploy data solutions
  • Data Governance and Best Practices: Support data governance activities and advocate for best practices within data warehousing.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Establish monitoring and alerting systems to promptly detect data pipeline failures or anomalies. Support technology stack development and maintenance, managing code versioning across the BI platform.
