Job Description

  • Join our dynamic Manufacturing Data Technology & IT Systems team as a Manufacturing Data Pipeline and Architecture Developer, where you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing manufacturing-related data pipelines and architecture.
  • Take ownership of creating and maintaining robust data pipelines to facilitate data ingestion from diverse sources such as Oracle, MS SQL, and Hadoop.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and deployment of applications that leverage these data pipelines, enabling actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for internal process improvements, including the automation of manual tasks, optimization of data delivery, and data cleansing/transformation.
  • Engage and collaborate with various business functions, IT, engineering, and quality teams to ensure the success of data-driven initiatives.
  • Monitor and fine-tune ETL performance to ensure optimal data processing and delivery.
  • Embrace an Agile development approach, working collaboratively in teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Data Warehousing using Oracle.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing data structures and ETL processes within an Oracle environment.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and architecture.
  • Experience in automating processes using ETL tools or manual coding, including building procedures and orchestrating data workflows.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, as well as version control systems like Git.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence Tools such as Tableau or Power BI, enabling the creation of insightful visualizations and reports.
  • Experience with ETL Tools such as ODI, Talend, or SSIS, enhancing your ability to streamline data integration processes.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry, providing valuable context for understanding manufacturing data and requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem, including Spark, Airflow, Hive, and Livy, expanding your capabilities in handling big data processing and analysis.
