We are a diverse, well-integrated, and customer-focused team of data scientists, data engineers, solution architects, application developers, and product managers with an ambitious vision to enable enterprise Machine Learning (ML) for all Infor customers across multiple industries and segments.
The data engineers in IDeAS are the backbone of every data-intensive project/product. They rely on a combination of analytics and technical expertise to turn the data vision into reality. As a data engineer, you will own the implementation of the reference architecture defined by the solution architect. You’ll work closely alongside the architect to finalize the solution blueprint and design decisions. The architecture design is then used as a steppingstone to implement the data pipeline and build and run scalable ML/AI models. This role requires and expands your technical expertise in a wide variety of technologies to develop and own our ML-Ops vision.
The data engineer role isn’t about the technical implementation only. It also involves working with the data science and business teams to build data models that are faithful to the business and that make building ML/AI models easier. As a data engineer, you’ll have a holistic understanding of every component and feature being built.

  • Collaborate with the data science team to tune ML/AI models.
  • Process larger data and ensure that it’s clean and compliant with the designed interfaces.
  • Collect, manage, analyze, and visualize large data sets.
  • Productize data management features and distributes them to a larger audience.Implement the reference architecture by integrating Infor products with clients’ systems and third-party partners.

-

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in building and orchestrating big data pipelines of structured and unstructured data sets.
  • Experience building data-centric analytics solutions.
  • Basic data science models: Linear regression, Logistic regression, SVM, K-mean, Decision trees, etc.
  • Data modeling and problem-solving skills.Experience with frameworks in the Big Data ecosystem. Spark, Delta Lake, and Neo4j are preferred.

-

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mathematical modeling, data science methodologies, and coding.
  • Experience with one major cloud platform is preferred.
