About this role:
This position offers a unique opportunity for a talented Data Engineer with analytics focus to join our AI algorithm team. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and constructing cutting-edge AI/ML applications that align with our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy. By leveraging your expertise in data engineering and machine learning, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business growth and enhance our competitive advantage in the market.

What you’ll do:

  • Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics.
  • Working with stakeholders including data scientists, product owners, and executive teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues.
  • Design, build and launch new data models and visualizations in production.
  • Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources.
  • Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
  • Support existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance.
  • Utilizing an Agile/Scrum approach to effectively collaborate and deliver results in a globally distributed team environment.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field of software development.
  • 1+ years’ experience in software and data engineering.
  • Experience processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python programming language.
  • Experience in building scalable data models and performing complex relational databases queries using SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), etc.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting toolkits, such as PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and statistics and at least some experience in data mining, machine learning, and/or natural language processing.
  • Knowledge of enterprise search platforms such as Elasticsearch is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Graph and NoSQL database knowledge such as Neo4j, MongoDB is a plus.
  • Knowledge of tracking, monitoring, and logging systems (Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog) is a plus.
  • Familiarity working on Cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail as well as the ability to see the big picture.
  • Scrum software development methodology experience is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 74,000 USD - 113,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
