POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to enhance our data and pipeline architecture, optimizing data flows to support cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder adept in creating robust data systems and infrastructures from the ground up. The Data Engineer will ensure consistent data delivery across ongoing projects and is excited about redesigning our data architecture for next-generation initiatives.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Development or Data Engineering.
• Expertise with Public Cloud Infrastructure (GCP, AWS).
• Proficiency in SQL, Git, Python, BigQuery. (Preferred FiveTran, Looker)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and optimize data pipelines from SaaS platforms to our data warehouse in Google BigQuery.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet short- and long-term business requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements to automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and enhance scalability.
• Develop infrastructure for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from diverse sources using SQL and big data technologies.
• Build analytics tools that leverage data pipelines to provide actionable insights for key IT and business metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Executives, Operations, Human Resources, and IT to resolve data-related technical issues and support infrastructure needs.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the manager.
