Job Title: Data Engineer
As a Data Modelling Engineer you will have a key role in developing and designing services and solutions for e.g. Data Platform in Azure and Intelligent Wellbeing solutions. You will be working in diverse teams consisting of top-level developers and customer’s experts. Your tasks and assignments would be jointly tailored according to your background and interests.

Job description:

• Professional SW development experience in data-driven solutions and data analytics related to health and social care
• Hands-on experience in working with data processing, data modelling, data integrations and data storing
• Strong background in planning and developing Data Warehouse solutions with familiarity with Data Lake and Data Lakehouse as solutions and how to apply
• Experience in Health Data and data governance with use of Data Vault, OMOP CDM, HL7 FIHR
• SW development skills in Java, Python, Scala, SQL, NoSQL, Kubernetes, etc.
• Knowledge of big data related technologies like Databricks, Azure Synapse, Apache Spark and Kafka
• Experience in Microsoft Azure and related technologies like IoT Hub, Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and Azure Machine Learning Services
• Passion to continuously learn new things and aim higher
• Passion to build great products and solve complex customer problems
• Confidence to take responsibility, honesty and openness as a member of a team

Since the nature of data context we expect excellent communications skills in English and Finnish.
