QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a Filipino Citizen
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, focusing on AWS data warehouse technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL, LookML, and advanced data modeling techniques.
• Expertise in using Stitch Data for seamless data integration.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
• Experience in a start-up environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices (preferred).
• Certification in AWS or related technologies is a plus.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, flexible working hours, preferably aligned with US East Coast time.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

As a Data Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our Technology Team, responsible for managing and optimizing our AWS data warehouse, including S3 and Redshift, and overseeing our Looker reporting environment. Your role will involve scoping and translating reporting requirements, building and optimizing data environments, ensuring data quality, and creating scalable reporting frameworks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and manage data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services, including S3 and Redshift.
• Develop and maintain a secure, scalable data architecture to support the organization’s analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and develop detailed specifications for data products.
• Implement Looker dashboards and reports, ensuring they meet business objectives and performance standards.
• Conduct data validation and quality assurance to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
• Optimize data workflows and ETL processes to enhance efficiency and system performance.
• Monitor and resolve data system performance issues to ensure seamless operations.
• Partner with analytics and business intelligence teams to support data-driven decision-making.
