ABOUT THE ROLE

We are on the lookout for a Senior Data Engineer with a keen interest or experience in Data Engineering and Python development. This role is pivotal to our operations, focusing on assisting our clients in optimizing their data infrastructure. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing data solutions that not only support advanced analytics and machine learning but also facilitate insightful reporting and informed decision-making. By working closely with client teams, you will play a vital role in transforming raw data into strategic assets.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and implement data transformation scripts and processes using Python.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Integrate and manage data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Optimize and maintain MySQL databases for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Leverage ElasticSearch for indexing, searching, and analyzing large datasets.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data workflows and pipelines to ensure high availability and performance.
• Document data processes, architectures, and workflows for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and software development.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and provide data insights to support decision-making processes.
