YOUR ROLE:

As a Data Engineering/BI Consultant, you will deliver data engineering and business intelligence solutions as part of the Brennan Data & AI team. This will include understanding customer requirements and then developing data models, data pipelines, notebooks, semantic models and reports & visualisations. You will work as part of a team on data projects of different sizes that takes customer requirements and implement these to unlock value for the customer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work within a Data & AI project team to deliver data engineering and reporting solutions.
• Work with project managers to provide estimates and updates.
• Technical solution design and proposal writing.
• Engage with customers to elicit/refine requirements and to deliver reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with various teams within Data & AI, Brennan Digital and our project management office to ensure client delivery.

TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS, THIS ROLE REQUIRES THE FOLLOW COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in a similar role(s) within a Professional Services or Managed Services Business, or a client’s environment.
• End to end experience developing Data Engineering and Business Intelligence reporting solutions (database through to report & visualization layer).
• Demonstrated experience turning customer’s data requirements into data warehouse and BI solutions that have delivered business value.
• Deep hands-on experience designing and implementing data warehouse & BI solutions with any combination of the following technologies:
• Power BI or Tableau.
• Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure SQL Databases.
• Snowflake.
• Databricks.
• BigQuery.
• Informatica / Talend / SSIS.
