Job Description
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As part of the role you will:
- Manage DE teams to deliver data solutions for clients
- Lead in architecting data landscapes that to reflect data strategies
- Understand and translate end-user requirements into designs and delivery plans for effective data solutions
- Design, develop, execute, frameworks for managing the build of pipelines using cloud technologies
- Manage teams in supporting technical implementations and resolve data quality issues within given SLAs
- Manage the development of best practice within the Data Engineering practice
- Take a lead role in mentoring and developing others in the team and inspire them through commitment and enthusiasm
- Work with Azure team leads to ensure best practice implementations
- Build an inclusive team culture focusing on service excellence and exceptional performance
- Manage the development and maintenance of T&Ts documentation and processes
Qualifications
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE ARE:
- Proven Experience working and managing teams working in:
- Databricks
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure Synapse (and data warehousing approaches) or SSIS
- Azure Analysis Services
- DataOps and Data Quality tools such as great Expectations
- Comprehensive and demonstratable experience in programming languages such as:
