We are currently hiring for a Full-Time Warehouse Data Entry Administrator in Kitchener. If you’re highly motivated and are ready for an exciting career that will shape the future of the foodservice industry, we want to hear from you.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data Entry Administrator is responsible for supporting our Warehouse and Transportation departments, which includes preparing documents, driver items, and ensuring the accuracy of information entered into a computer. Working in a fast-paced environment within the Warehouse, this position requires you to respond professionally to internal and external customers by phone and email, and deliver a high level of customer service while prioritizing a variety of tasks and duties.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to speak and understand the English language to a high degree.
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to enter information with accuracy.
  • Strong time-management skills, and ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities – i.e. numerical sorting of invoices and filing
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, and contribute to a positive environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, and deal with stressful situations.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and deal with frequent interruptions.
  • Good decision making and critical thinking skills to resolve issues effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs on occasion.

UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • Repetitive work when ripping/tearing labels.
  • Attention to detail, high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and emails from various departments and customers
  • Provide service excellence to internal/external customers
  • Collect cheques, count cash, and sort/file invoices.
  • Tear and sort labels required for the day.
  • Enter data and information (weights and shorts) with accuracy into computer.
  • Evaluate discrepancies with weights and shorts, and rectify for corrections.
  • Handout equipment to warehouse staff at the start of shift and as needed
  • Prepare driver bags by adding keys, temperature gauges, paperwork etc.
  • Check-in drivers, and ensure all components are returned and accounted for.
  • Must demonstrate an adherence to all HACCP and Food Handling practices
