As Data Entry Coordinator, you will:

Responsibilities:

  • Mail Processing: Open, process, and distribute all incoming and outgoing office mail.
  • Financial Support: Generate bank deposits, support camp registration and booking payments, and manage accounts receivable collections.
  • Administrative Compliance: Execute business license renewals and property tax exemption renewals.
  • Raiser’s Edge Database Management:

o Maintain and update the Raiser’s Edge database, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for donor stewardship, recognition, and solicitation.
o Create and run queries, data reports, and analysis as requested, providing meaningful insights within set timelines.
o Ensure timely processing of donations, including gift entry, receipting, and donor acknowledgment, with attention to gift-in-kind, split receipting, and non-charitable gift acknowledgments.
o Update donor records with changes in contact details and new engagement activities.
o Deliver effective operation of the Raiser’s Edge database, emphasizing data integrity.
o Provide support for data pulls, custom reports, user documentation, and training.
o Manage data imports and exports for direct mail, telemarketing, and email marketing campaigns, ensuring accuracy in all data-related tasks.
o Perform database troubleshooting, system testing, updates, installations, data mapping, imports, and backups.
o Develop, implement, and maintain Raiser’s Edge procedures according to best practices.

o Create and maintain documentation for database and operational processes.

  • Fund Development Support:

o Assist the Fund Development team with administrative tasks for large-scale fundraising events and stewardship activities.
o Participate in the annual planning and execution of Fund Development initiatives as a team member.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Commitment to ethical standards in donor relations and data management.
  • Experience in fundraising or non-profit administration is an asset.

Other:

  • The Data Entry Coordinator is 35 hours/week and reports to the Director of Finance.
  • This position will require a mix of remote work and in office
  • A criminal records search and an intervention record check are conditions of employment.
