Job Summary
Ontario Wholesale Energy is looking for a Data Entry Specialist that reports to our Manager, Operations. The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering & assessing all Contract submissions sent to us by our team of Sales Agents. Additional responsibilities relating to processing contracts will be assigned. This position will take place in a fast paced, friendly, and team-oriented environment.
An ideal candidate will possess an exceptional attention to detail. Further, they must be able to exemplify speed and accuracy. The role will entail learning industry standards and requirements to ensure each submission is compliant.
This position requires the candidate to work independently but it also requires team collaboration to make a difference in our company.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Processing Contract submissions
  • Inputting Contract submissions
  • Ensuring all contract submission are processed in a timely manner
  • Reviewing entries for data entry errors
  • Verifying compliance as per industry standards
  • Understanding company standards
  • Consulting with other departments when required
  • Responding to Agent inquiries and requests in a timely manner

Qualifications and Skills

  • Data Entry experience is a must
  • Speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Problem Solving
  • Self-starter
  • Time management
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Some Customer Service experience
  • Secondary education required; Post-Secondary education preferred.

This is a Full-time Position: 9:00am – 5:00pm; Monday – Friday
