The Enterprise Risk team sits within Group Compliance and is responsible for ensuring that ANZ conforms to the global risk framework that supports our strategy and ensures consistently high operating and behavioural standards in all the jurisdictions in which we operate.
Risk is a critical function, with highly valued and innovative teams that enable ANZ to deliver its purpose.
This role would suit a collaborative critical thinker who would like to join a team of thoughtful analysts who encourage each other’s ideas while giving enough space for individuals to shine.
What will your day look like
Support the Frameworks team to continuously improve the enterprise governance framework, manage data policies, standards and guidelines
Help manage regulatory obligations and NFR control objectives related to data risk theme
Contribute to the effectiveness of reducing framework complexity, improve usability and adherence
Contribute to the development of tools and reporting to enable strong awareness, understand and application of the enterprise data governance framework
Assist with engagement, communication and governance of the enterprise data risk framework to key stakeholders
What will you bring?
Experience working in or with risk assurance and/or data management and data governance
Ability to establish, build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and influence/negotiate change with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Collaborative team player
Experience in data management and governance frameworks, critical data, business metadata and industry models
Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk based manner
Resilience and fast paced approach with strong growth mindset
