REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
  • Knowledge of data quality tools and techniques (e.g., data profiling, cleansing, and matching tools).
  • Familiarity with data governance principles and practices.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred) for data manipulation and automation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, agile environment.
  • Experience in financial services or working with financial data is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation, maintenance, and improvement of master data management processes.
  • Support the implementation of data governance policies, including data quality standards, data lineage, and data access controls.
  • Perform data quality checks, profiling, cleansing, and matching tasks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with data owners to understand business requirements and ensure proper documentation of master data attributes and business rules.
  • Work with the Master Data Manager to monitor and report on key data quality metrics, identifying issues and recommending improvements.
  • Assist with the integration of third-party data into the platform, ensuring proper data mapping and transformation.
  • Support change management processes for master data, including updates, corrections, and deletions.
  • Help maintain relationships with third-party data providers, ensuring compliance with data licensing agreements.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and develop tools or scripts (e.g., SQL, Python) to automate data validation and reporting tasks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve data governance and master data management practices.
