Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead with over 7 years of data governance experience and banking experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in data governance lead or similar role
- Proficiency in data analysis and data lineage is essential.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles, methodologies, and frameworks
- Experience working on infrastructure projects
- Risk-related experience
- Strong understanding of data quality and auditing
- Experience with compiling data dictionaries and documenting business functions
- Strong working knowledge identifying critical data elements
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $90.00-$95.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule:

- Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance requirements and objectives
- Establish data quality metrics and monitor adherence to data governance policies
- Conduct data audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain data governance documentation, including data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage
- Provide guidance and support to business units on data governance best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data governance
