Are you Passionate about data governance? Do you have the drive & stakeholder management skills to promote & deliver Data Governance products & services whilst establishing a data led’ culture across the business?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Data Governance professional (eg Lead, Consultant, Manager) with proven knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practice; for my client, an established & successful niche finance org with a £4m+ turnover, over 700k external customers & c1400 staff who, are investing in the latest data governance frameworks & technologies to continually meet & exceed their business’s needs.
Reporting to the Head of Data, the Data Governance Lead will play a key part in this dynamic team, working alongside supportive & knowledgeable technical colleagues who will implement the required governance technical tooling.
You will work very closely with business stakeholders at all levels & from all departments (customer service, finance, pricing etc) in order to understand and identify business requirements and use cases for governance. Your excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills will encourage them to embrace the change to a data-driven business model & to take ownership of data whilst, overcoming their reservations & resistance.
This is a great opportunity for a data governance champion’ to lead/move a business to a data led culture from the ground up, to utilise & further their experience and to really add value to a successful organisation.
Salary of £70-95k (depending on experience) plus benefits including realistic c15% bonus, 15% non-contributory pension, 28 days holiday, healthcare, 35 hour week, flexible hours/home working, great career progression etc
The team work from their smart, modern offices based in Edinburgh, EH12 (close to Edinburgh Park & South Gyle rail stations and Edinburgh Park Central tram stop) plus remote days (average 2 per week) and occasional visits to the London office too.
