QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive and succeed in this position, we imagine you have:
- A PhD within Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Computational Science.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the data field being exposed to data management principles and focused on cultivating a robust data-driven culture.
- Solid experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries and understanding of the drug discovery value chain.
- In-depth understanding of FAIR and ALCOA+ Principles.
- A strong knowledge on the evolving concepts and practices in data management and experience with implementation of governance best practices.
- Awareness and experience in Data Classification methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in implementing Digital Transformation initiatives.
As a person, you lead by example coaching and supporting scientific specialists. You are a decision maker and performance driver with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You are used to collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to developing a data governance strategy for Research and Early Development Data that encompasses people, process, and technology.
- Leading the operationalization of the data governance strategy.
- Developing credibility as a thought leader in data management and governance both within Novo Nordisk and with external stakeholders.
- Staying up to date with new data technologies while identifying new trends and data innovations.
- Partnering with Data Stewards to cultivate a data driven culture with increasing data literacy.
- Being a strong contributor to the Research Data Governance organization
