JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mindtree It Solutions Ltd Looking for an experienced Data Insights Analyst to join our team and help us accelerate our growth by providing data-driven insights to our projects. The role will require working closely with the development and business teams on various projects, as well as with Business Stakeholders using and requesting modifications to the systems and working in collaboration with a highly technical and enthusiastic team, you will apply your Business Intelligence tools and leadership skills to drive improvement in all functions of the company.
The skills re Power BI, Power Query and SQL are extremely important, but so is the character / personality of the individual. You, as the Data Insight Analyst, will apply your experience of driving growth through data to the company, which is fast growing and constantly ever changing. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have 8+ Years of Data Analyst or Power BI experience.
• Bachelor’s degree as a minimum.
• Must hold certifications on Microsoft Power BI.
• Ability to resolve data related problems.
• Ideally the candidate would have experience in creating data services such as SQL databases or data warehouses on PaaS offerings
• Strong data analysis experience,
• Advanced technical skills including Power BI, DAX, Power Query,
• Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Advance SQL querying, ideally Microsoft (SQL Server) T-SQL.
• The ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
• Team player who can work proactively and on their own initiative.
• Ability to work to deadlines and multi-task.
• Some Microsoft Azure exposure.
• Strong Excel skills (modelling and formatting best-practices).
• Ability to pick the right visualisation method to represent data and insights.
• Ability to think out of the box with a can-do attitude to get things done efficiently.
• Strong data manipulation/interrogation experience using SQL.
• Can adapt communication for both technical and non-technical people.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
• Proven ability to extract, manipulate, optimise, and industrialise Data using expertise in MS Excel.
• Experience of SQL Server, D365, MS Customer Insights and Azure Data Lake is desirable.

• Design and implement secure, efficient and compliant data collection systems, ensuring data quality and integrity by identifying errors and cleaning data.
• Develop records management and reporting processes and policies.
• Identify areas to increase efficiency and optimise data collection processes by automating data workflows and building efficient data pipelines.
• Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
• Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
• Identify the requirements and develop custom charts accordingly.
• Collaborate effectively across teams to understand requirements and scope of reporting requests.
• Use your inquisitive mindset to gain an understanding of our data, performance metrics and reporting capabilities.
• Perform data analysis, developing and optimising queries and reports.
• Ensure any data quality issues are logged and escalated where appropriate
• Actively contribute within team meetings and identify improvements to ways of working
• Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
• Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
• Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts.
• SQL querying for better results and building Analysis Services reporting models.
• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
