Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Data Insights and Strategist Lead to join our Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling, with a proven ability to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of analytics and its strategic application in a business context, ensuring that our data not only informs but also persuades and engages key stakeholders.
Compensation: Pay in (US Dollars) DOE

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on strategic insights and data visualization.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing analytics teams and driving data-driven strategies.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, data modeling, and data analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytics tools and programming languages, including Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience presenting analytics to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience leading analytics initiatives for large-scale projects or acquisitions.
  • Familiarity with real-time analytics platforms and their applications in business environments.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
  • Industry-specific knowledge relevant to Installed Sales, enhancing the relevance and impact of data insights.

  • Develop visualization techniques that convey critical insights immediately, ensuring data-driven narratives are understood at a glance.
  • Select and prioritize key metrics that support business strategy, while avoiding unnecessary data that may complicate decision-making.
  • Tailor data presentations to meet the specific needs and expectations of different stakeholders, including executives, product teams, and external partners.
  • Anticipate challenges or pushback from stakeholders, and prepare data-driven responses that address concerns and reinforce the overall narrative.
  • Mentor and guide junior analytics team members, focusing on their understanding of business strategy and the importance of effective data communication.
  • Delegate technical tasks such as data crunching to junior team members, ensuring the final analytics outputs are polished and strategic.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of all analytics outputs through rigorous quality control processes.
  • Regularly review and refine analytics processes, incorporating best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics are fully integrated into all aspects of product development and business strategy.
  • Work with technology teams to optimize analytics tools and processes for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
