Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Integration Developer will play a critical role in supporting the company’s Analytics organization. It is preferred that the candidate lives near a RevSpring corporate office (Newark OH, Oaks PA, Nashville TN, Livonia MI, Ann Arbor MI, Arden Hills MN, or Phoenix AZ) and can occasionally commute to the office post pandemic. The developer will work closely with a team of data scientists, data visualization developers, data analysts, and data engineers. We are looking for a candidate that has a start-up mentality and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and learning new technology based on the business’ changing demands.

SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with all aspects of data management including data analysis, data management, data warehousing and data lakes, ETL, and data visualization.
  • Strong technical / data mining skills and ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • Manage and deploy production pipelines and reporting services in a cloud environment.
  • Ability to manage development and operational tasks simultaneously.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar
    Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience
    Supervision: N/A
    Certifications: SQL, Python, or cloud services preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to write advanced SQL statements and to quickly grasp the structure of data. Ability to write process control and data management scripts in Python. Ability to follow and decipher complex data models, and to create process, data flow, and entity relational diagrams. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals or technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.

  • Assess and develop scalable data pipelines while ensuring integrity and accuracy of the data.
  • Optimize, improve, and support current pipelines to enhance content and delivery of data.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for data quality and delivery errors, identify and develop solutions.
  • Document, enforce, maintain, and support the development of data quality goals and standards.
  • Collaborate with various colleagues to standardize definitions, documentation, and models.
  • Explore opportunities to improve data quality while increasing data timeliness and availability.
