We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the Cape Town office.
We are looking for an entry-level Data Management Analyst to join our team focused on our Investment Suite located in Cape Town, South Africa. This role will focus on and provide administrative support for clients’ use of MRI’s in-house software applications.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to collect data and documents from various sources and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financials as well as provide ongoing client training. You will maintain timely communication with clients, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection and processing of financial documents (Interims, Audits, Tax Returns, Budgets, Rent Rolls, etc.). You will be responsible for using in-house software to process data within designated SLAs, while delivering exceptional client service that exceeds expectations. Strong accountability and frequent collaboration with both clients and the internal team are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and organize data and documents from various sources
  • Accurately process and review financial source documents, including Interims, Audits, Tax Returns, Budgets, and Rent Rolls
  • Maintain timely, professional communication with clients and internal teams
  • Take accountability for ensuring data is processed within required SLAs
  • Use and maintain in-house data processing software
  • Validate the collection and accuracy of financial documents
  • Run client and internal training sessions when required

Skills and Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field
  • 1 – 3 year’s experience in a similar role
  • High attention to detail
  • High level of accountability and collaboration
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with MS SQL is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Finance and/or Accounting Principles
