Description:
Enterprise Knowledge (EK) is hiring a Data Management Senior Consultant to join our growing Advanced Data & Enterprise AI Practice.
Our Data Management Senior Consultant are responsible for managing the design and implementation of cutting-edge data discovery, integration, and data governance solutions for a wide range of organizations around the world. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills to create data products, develop solutions, and build world-class analytics capabilities for our clients. You will continually innovate and pioneer the use of new technologies and drive the adoption of these amongst a collaborative team of consultants and engineers. You will also have ownership of data engineering projects, manage client expectations, and drive delivery with the appropriate stakeholders.

Our office is located in Arlington, VA and will be Hybrid for those living within a commutable distance. EK will support remote work if you reside in the following states: GA, IN, FL, MA, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, IL, OR, AZ, WA, CO or TX.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, economics, data science, computer science, or related field
- 4+ years of experience working as part of data management or data governance teams
- Experience with distributed data processing systems and proficiency in SQL
- Experience designing and working with relational databases
- Experience designing and working with graph databases and SPARQL
- Willingness and ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Experience and familiarity with data modeling, data silo integration, and database architecture projects
- Experience setting up and working with data catalog, MDMs or other data management tools
- Familiarity with software engineering principles around testing, code reviews and deployment
EK considers a broad range of factors in considering employee salary including a candidate’s skills, experience, education, certifications, past successes, and qualifications. A range for a starting pay for this role is $110,000 to $165,000 with most candidates likely to fall in the lower half. This range does not guarantee a specific salary and may be adjusted based on the needs of the company and the candidate’s qualifications.

Responsibilities:
- Advise clients in all aspects of the planning and implementation of their data management and governance strategies
- Facilitate discussions to understand client needs to provide advisory/consulting on data management and governance best practices and translate to technical requirements for solution design and implementation
- Serve as a SME to the client on data management and governance concepts and the benefits of data governance policies, procedures, tools, and deliverables including development of enterprise data strategy, implementation and adoption processes, establishment of data governance policies and procedures to keep pace with evolving business needs
- Support the design, build, and scaling of data pipelines across a variety of source systems and streams, distributed/elastic environments, and downstream applications
- Operate in a cloud environment and assess environment specifications and requirements for implementing data management solutions
