Summary
The Ground Based Systems division is a rapidly growing business area of HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH, which supplies vision systems for military land vehicles. Due to the rapidly increasing number of projects and thus also delivery positions, a Data Manager (f/m/d) is required to ensure the synchronization of the data stocks within the S&OP and FCO processes.
Your Tasks
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data quality strategy that aligns with business objectives
- Establishing and enforcing data quality policies, standards, procedures and processes as well as their documentation
- Definition, implementation and regular monitoring and reporting (dashboards) of key performance indicators (KPIs) for data quality
- Leading data cleansing, validation and enrichment activities and moderating data quality working groups and committees
- Working with data owners, data owners and IT to resolve data quality issues
- Provide training and support to employees on data quality best practices
- Identify data quality risks and develop mitigation strategies
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, data science or a related field
- Several years of experience in data management, data quality or a similar role with proven success in leading data quality initiatives / projects
- Very good tool knowledge (incl. programming routines) XLS, Power-BI, SAP R3 / S4 Hana as well as common data quality tools and technologies
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness
- Extensive experience in leading cross-divisional data quality projects from initiation to completion
- Analytical, structured and pro-active as well as result/goal-oriented way of thinking and working
- High level of resilience and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business requirements
- Excellent communication skills in German and English to effectively convey data quality concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Team player and enjoy working in teams.
- Fluent in English and German
