Description:
DATA & MI SPECIALIST - HOME BASED - ARD1015374
An exciting remote based Data & MI Specialist opportunity has arisen to join our MI & Data team.
This role will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, generating meaningful insights, and providing valuable information to support decision-making across the organisation.
You will support the Data & MI Manager with delivery of Divisional Data & MI strategy, ensuring all dashboards built are scalable, low maintenance and user friendly. You will also lead on provision of data and analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in the insurance industry is essential for this role
- It would be ideal if you had knowledge of SQL, although this is not essential
- Ideally an understanding of Data and Data Structures, and relational databases, would be ideal
- Previous experience dealing with IT and other 3rd suppliers including SLA management
- Previous experience of managing and influencing stakeholder relationships at different levels
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and tools including Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Drive the business forward by delivery of MI solutions, embedding data skills, capabilities, and behaviours across the organisation to enable and foster a data driven culture
- Build, maintain and improve the set of business-critical MI, delivering solutions for business or regulatory reporting needs and ensuring key controls, governance and data management practices are followed
- Always ensure accuracy and integrity of data across all solutions
- Monitor the usage and uptake of the MI landscape ensuring the MI is timely, accurate and issues are tracked and resolved
- Prioritise and manage workload in an agile methodology, balancing any conflict between legacy demand and strategic transformation
- Build and maintain key relationships with business teams, partnering with them to deliver customer focused solutions and building a customer centric team
