Description:

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

  • Experience advising clients on data strategy elements related to their SAP roadmaps and supporting the implementation of associated data migration solutions.
  • At least 4 years of functional data management experience across full end-to-end SAP implementation lifecycles, from data strategy definition to cutover.
  • Proven ability to advise and support clients with data quality challenges, collaborating to define corrective actions and deliver data quality monitoring solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data management and migration strategies and methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP data tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, SAP SDI, SAP Migration Cockpit, Information Steward).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of data migration projects for the SAP solution, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to communicate any potential resource constraints related to data migration across projects.
  • Conduct and facilitate data migration meetings, ensuring that tasks are completed effectively by all stakeholders.
  • Provide weekly highlight reports for each migration project to internal key stakeholders, detailing progress and any issues encountered.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and external vendors, to gather requirements and define data migration strategies.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify quality issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies, developing strategies to address them proactively.
  • Design and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation processes to ensure accurate and complete migration of financial data to the new ERP system.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including migration plans, data mapping specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform rigorous testing and validation of migrated data to ensure integrity, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop business and functional requirements, ensuring accurate scoping for programming.
  • Proactively identify, manage, or escalate risks and issues, researching and developing options for remediation or mitigation.
  • Engage with teams from acquired businesses and lead workshops to ensure alignment on requirements and specifications throughout the migration process
