Join our Commodities Global Markets business as an enthusiastic and innovative Analyst. We ensure that Commodities Global Markets data is accurately and appropriately maintained for compliance with global regulations and internal policies with regards to completeness, quality, and timeliness.

What role will you play?
You will engage with stakeholders to determine data requirements, identify and resolve issues, design solutions, streamline processes, and co-ordinate testing and implementation of system/process changes to support consistent data quality for all consumers of our data. You will review current control frameworks to develop and implement robust controls, whilst navigating and interpreting a wide range of data sources to ensure that financial markets data is represented appropriately, including for complex derivatives. Finally, you will complete periodic reporting tasks, analysis of reporting, and use system validation and exception/control reports to ensure the output produces complete, accurate, valid and relevant data that is consistent with regulations and internal policies.

What you offer

  • 1-2 years working experience within a finance or accounting role, where you have gained the ability to detect breaks, anomalies and issues pertaining to reporting
  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Finance or Accounting or other related domain, with a high level of academic achievement and knowledge of financial services or financial markets products
  • Highly numerate with an ability to critically analyse, interrogate, interpret and draw conclusions from multiple data sources, with an aptitude for identifying issues and determining solutions
  • Excel aptitude, with strong Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Confident conveying complex and technical requirements to both peers and senior colleagues.
