Description:
PRIMARY SKILLSET:
Proven experience as a DevOps or System Engineer in Unix environments.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of data structures and system design principles.
- Knowledge of information security principles and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, install, and monitor big data platforms to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain the normal operation of multiple core systems for big data and online computing, resolving issues within agreed SLAs.
- Assess infrastructure requirements for deployment, upgrade, and optimization activities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design, configuration, troubleshooting, backup, and disaster recovery (DR) processes.
- Ensure all deployments and operations comply with prevailing security standards, regulations, and audit requirements.
- Provide expert recommendations on data governance practices and system optimization best practices.
