How do we work?
We are looking for a self-motivated and results-oriented Data Platform Engineer to develop data infrastructure and tools supporting the data strategy. We work in an international environment with engineers, Data Architect and stakeholders located in North America, Europe and Asia.
In this role, like any other engineering role in the team, you will be expected to be on call for production support at an agreed frequency.

In this role, you will:

• Create data infrastructure and tools supporting the data strategy and efficiency gains of data users
• Develop models and algorithms which are leveraging our data
• Support our existing data infrastructure and tools
• Create a strong relationship with your colleagues
• Be familiar to expert level with data engineering practices and standard,

What skillset you need, to be successful in this role:

• From 3+ (regular) to 5+ (senior) years in a data engineering, data platform or SRE role,
• Cloud exposure, GCP preferably
• Good programming skills (SQL & Python, Java a certain advantage)
• Experience using data warehouse like BigQuery or similar
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• An eagerness to create long lasting meaningful professional relationships

Nice to have:

• Understanding of trading
• Exposure to GCP products, including Composer, BigQuery, Dataflow
