As well as being the first Microsoft Inner Circle Partner in the UK, they are very innovative and growing tech company and hence are now looking for an experienced and analytical Data Practice Lead to join their team. You will serve as a key figure in both data strategy and customer success initiatives. This role combines deep technical expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence (BI) with a strong customer-facing focus. You will lead efforts to maximise the value of their AI-driven products for the clients, working closely with the Customer Success Team to ensure that solutions not only meet but exceed customer expectations. You will also manage the data practice, driving the development of robust data pipelines, analytics frameworks, machine learning models and client dashboards.

Data Practice Lead, the person:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a data or AI-focused team, with a strong emphasis on customer-facing roles
  • Hands-on experience in data management, machine learning, BI, and AI implementation
  • A good Business Intelligence focus to provide KPIs and Insights
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Capable of collaborating effectively with developers, customer success teams, and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong statistical analysis techniques
  • Expertise in data interpretation and test design

Technical:

  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, Python, Jupyter Notebooks/Visual Studio Code, Power BI or Tableau, DevOps or Git source control, Microsoft Fabric and Azure ML
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools and LLM prompt programming
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and tools (Scikit-learn) and Graph DB and Powershell scripting

  • Degree in Computer Science / Data Science / Statistics
