Description:
DATA PRIVACY SPECIALIST
We are looking for a Data Privacy Sr. Specialist to join our Global Privacy Office. The Data Privacy Sr. Specialist will serve as a first line of support to the Privacy Office in the management and implementation of Radisson’s global privacy framework. Based in Brussels, the Data Privacy Sr. Specialist will report into the Head of the Global Privacy Office and Data Protection Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Information Technology, Law, Business, or a related field (a CIPP-E/CIPM certification is a plus)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience at a leading international company, ideally in a role involving data privacy matters
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and precision in handling assignments
- Excellent command of verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders and departments
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Responsibilities:
- Maintain procedures for handling of data subject requests and respond to privacy-related customer inquiries
- Manage the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the company’s data inventory, updating existing and adding new records of processing activities
- Conduct due diligence and support the security team in the review of vendors/processors as part of the company’s third-party risk management program
- Assist in the creation of global privacy policies, programs and processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Perform Basic Privacy Assessments (BPAs) to identify and mitigate risks associated with data processing activities
- Help review and negotiate data sharing and data processing agreements to ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations
