Description:

We are seeking one or two highly skilled Data Privacy Strategy Consultants to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a comprehensive background in strategic and operating model design and implementation, coupled with a deep understanding of privacy regulations, GDPR and others. They will have a proven history in delivering similar work within multinational banking environments, and will have an important role in designing and implementing our target operating model for a privacy organization.
You will be working alongside the Target Operating Model lead, Data Programmes Leaders and the existing Data Protection Programme, effectively to design and implement the future privacy organization for the bank.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Law or a related field privacy field.
  • Proven experience in strategy and operating model design.
  • Extensive knowledge of privacy regulations and GDPR.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a multinational banking environment.
  • Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Target Operating Model Definition : Identify and define the capabilities needed to facilitate, maintain and drive data protection compliance across all bank units.
  • Capability Descriptions, Processes and Interactions : Design detailed descriptions of capabilities required, outlining necessary processes and interactions within and across the group.
  • Capability Technology, Data and Architecture : Analyze and plan for the digital, data, and IT infrastructure required to support these capabilities.
  • Governance Overview : Design, align and implement the strategic, tactical, and operational governing bodies, contributing to decision-making, managing operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Organization Structure : Assist in defining the organizational structure and reporting lines according to the defined capabilities.
  • Roles and Responsibilities : Develop thorough descriptions of each role within the organization, along with its responsibilities.
  • Future State Scenario Testing : Conduct scenario testing to ensure the robustness and adaptability of the design.
  • Roadmap : Contribute to the creation of a detailed roadmap with a timeline and activities required to implement the target operating model.
  • Stakeholder Management : Navigate a complex stakeholder landscape, collaborating across the existing privacy programme, data protection compliance, group legal, group risk, subsidiaries, and other areas within the bank. Manage stakeholders effectively and work ‘through’ others to achieve objectives.
