Tasks

  • Lead and manage data and analytics projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage project controls, and monitor progress to meet project objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ Project Management experience, ideally within Data Governance, Data Management or Data Quality areas;
  • Familiarity with data governance technologies and tools (e.g., data cataloguing, metadata management, data quality);
  • Knowledge of Data Management principles;
  • Exceptional reporting and documentation skills;
  • PowerPoint/strategic deck presentation skills;
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban;
  • Experience in documenting processes and creating comprehensive documentation; • Experience in defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables, create and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources; monitor and track progress against the plan; and identify and mitigate risks and issues;
  • Proactive problem solver with a solution orientated approach and high level of attention to detail;
  • Proven track record and experience of managing a program of multiple related initiatives and successfully coordinating resources;
  • P&L /budgeting and forecasting knowledge. Ability to manage the overall project budget and ensure financial control throughout the program life cycle;
  • People-oriented to understand and manage the needs, expectations, and concerns of people involved in the project;
  • Excellent Communication skills, to manage the communication with key stakeholders and coordinate the projects and their interdependencies;
  • Continuous learning, commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and seeking out opportunities for improvement;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Knowledge of waterfall and agile frameworks;
  • Experience with data governance /data quality tools (desirable);
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and/or data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are a plus

Responsibilities:

TASKS:

  • Define and manage the project’s scope, estimating costs, determining budgets, and identifying quality requirements;
  • Plan, define and develop schedules, and activities, estimating resources and activity durations;
  • Manage changes to the project scope, organize schedules, control costs and margins maintain an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact;
  • Define the budget and allocate resources efficiently, ensuring the accomplishment of the project’s goals within the budget and timing set;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with different stakeholders within the project scope;
  • Perform risk management, planning and identifying potential risks, assessing qualitative and quantitative risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and reporting issues that cannot be resolved within the team;
  • Manage all project’s workload, be accountable and analyze the team’s progress activities, and prepare status reports;
  • Ensure project team members are aligned with clients’ needs;
  • Promote continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tools that support team productivity and add value for the client;
  • Guarantee project deliverables timely and ensure that they comply with quality standards;
  • Lead and coach the team, ensuring appropriate assessment, support, and development of the team members;
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies/industry trends providing insights and advice on new opportunities and applying best practices into daily activities;
  • Be compliant with internal procedures, policies, and guidelines, and external regulations; Always check with your PBP if there is someone internal available for the role
  • Coach, motivate, and give guidance to the team members, to ensure continuously improving performance levels in terms of project scope, budget, and schedules, guaranteeing that work is performed on time with the quality expected.
