The Doyle Collection is currently looking for a Data Protection Analyst based in our Dublin head office. Reporting to our CTO, you will also be working closely with the fellow GDPR Steering Committee Members.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years+ working in a GDPR/DPA coordinator or Manager role
  • Knowledge of EU and UK GDPR legislation and compliance requirements
  • Professional GDPR/DPA certification(s)/qualification(s) preferable but not essential
  • Understanding of the hospitality sector would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of US data privacy requirements would be useful, but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in admin, prioritisation of work/projects
  • Confident communicator and good presentation skills
  • Proficient report writing skills

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Group CTO and working with fellow GDPR Steering Committee Members
  • Engagement with all hotels, particularly Privacy Champions, and head office functions
  • Advisory role on GDPR/DPA issues in the business
  • Coordination and governance on the implementation of GDPR/DPA-related policies and procedures across the organisation such as : GDPR/DPA policies, Data retention, Data subject access requests, Privacy by design, Third party compliance
  • GDPR/DPA employee awareness training
  • Coordination and collation of data subject access requests
  • Completion of Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
  • Upkeep of organisational GDPR/DPA required and supporting artefacts such as the Record of Processing Activity (ROPA)
  • Coordination and management on information and action on data breaches
  • Engagement and reporting to the Irish Data Protection Commission and/or the UK Information Commissioner’ Office (ICO)
  • Mentoring of Data Privacy Champions in each hotel
  • Reporting to senior management in relation to GDPR/DPA status and compliance
  • Liaising with external auditor(s) in relation to GDPR/DPA compliance and governance assurances
  • Ad-hoc projects and tasks, as required to support the Group CTO and IT function
