Description:

DATA PROTECTION

  • Conduct regular data protection impact assessments and audits.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for data protection queries and issues, both internally and externally.
  • Ensure data subjects’ rights are upheld, including managing subject access requests and data breach responses.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in data protection (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data protection, regulatory compliance, and ISO management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the GDPR and other data protection laws relevant to Ireland and the EU.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Completely IT literate, numerate and experienced with data analysis with excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience operating in a Compliance/Legal leadership position with experience as Data Protection Officer role (Desirable).

An excellent opportunity has arisen to take an active role in the Risk and Compliance team to support day to day activities. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Data Protection and Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that Savills adheres to all data protection laws and regulations, handles complaints efficiently, and maintains ISO certification standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data privacy, regulatory compliance, and quality management systems. We are an interdepartmental dynamic team that is passionate about our responsibility, always seeking out best practices and improving ways to protect Savills and our clients from regulatory risk.
